For Synthetic Wigs:
Pre-Wash: Gently remove tangles with a wide-tooth comb or a wig brush, starting from the ends and working up to the roots.
Diluted Shampoo: Use a wig shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair. Mix a small amount with cold water.
Gently Cleanse: Submerge the wig in the solution and gently swish it around to clean. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing, as this can damage the fibers.
Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the wig with cold water until all shampoo is removed. Avoid direct streams of water, as they can cause the wig cap to stretch.
Condition (Optional): Some synthetic wigs may benefit from a conditioner designed for synthetics. Follow the same process as shampooing.
